Nice stat for the Gophers to have in their back pocket. Win out the season - which is very far from a given - and they're sitting 9-9 in the Big 10 with those three nice wins.

The question becomes, if Nolen doesn't return for tournament play, does the committee consider that the team which won those games isn't the same team that they'd select for the tournament? Everything I've heard says yes. Certainly still helpful to a borderline resume, but diminished a bit.

Those 3 wins are pretty much keeping the Gophers' at-large hopes afloat. That and a solid 6-6 road/neutral record that also includes a win over another at-large contender/top-100 opponent (#65 Michigan) without our PG in the second half. If we find a way to win 3 more games, I think that'll pretty much make the "no Nolen" discussion a moot point.

Seeing stuff like this just irks you cause you know the potential this squad had.....

Agreed. But even with the issues we've had, we should be nowhere near the situation we're in.

A lot of us have heard of Destiny's Child? I think of the Gopher basketball program as the "Bubble's Child".

We have NO point guard to run the show. Our Shooting Guard has be forced to become Point. As a result, the whole team is out of whack on everything. Tubby has kept us in every game in spite of all the *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#. Now, settle down people and get real. With no proven point guard to run the show, we are screwed. The Doc has spoken.
