This belongs more on they football forum, but you should all put in some votes too!

This year, the band has submitted a video for a CBS competition of college bands playing the Hawaii Five-0 theme song. The prize for receiving the most votes is $25,000 to the band program. Voting starts after the Hawaii Five-0 premier tonight at I think 10pm CST.

Go Gophers!

And the award goes to ...

Here is an updated link. The one above seems broken. http://promotions.mardenkane.com/cbs/marchingbandmania/index.cfm?yt=2Ek2yjeUQL0

I've taken a look and unfortunately MN doesn't seem to be the best, but a fun contest nonetheless and I'll still vote for 'em. I think the tempo was a bit slow and they should have recorded inside and dubbed the better sound over the top.

Awards:
Best Overall: Tie: Clemson and Otterbein U. (Watch these after UMN and you'll see why we won't win)
Best film editing: Montana
Best Sound: Indiana
Best Field Show: Notre Dame
Best Danceline: Hawaii
Best Drumline Feature: Minnesota
Best Slow Tempo: Stillman College
Best Flags: Central OK
Best use of "Book 'em Dano": Maryland
Best Mascot: Cocky (So. Car)
Best use of a swimming pool: Gettysburg College
Best use of a big yellow tarp: Northwestern St.
Nerdiest: Yale
Best use of a musical saw: Yale
Worst: Pitt St. (Watch this to see a High School band)

Other than having the storyline thing I'm not sure why Otterbein is in the top 2. They have a bad, unbalanced sound for most of it.

Clemson is pretty sloppy, but they make their own arrangement of it at the end which is the reason I would have them up there. But they have some pretty sloppy entrances and missed notes (trombones). But they're moving so I guess + points on that.
