At least these are the ones I could find. Nice to get back to football.

I think its time

To trust Brew. He is the coach now and will be the next two years plus. he has delivered on the promise of higher rated recruits.

What a horrible weekend to have that many recruits visit... finals start next week, so that means nothing will be going on, and its effin cold as hell out!!

Love it - thanks for posting!

Well, it doesn't get much colder than this... I like that we have a couple of juco ballers coming in.

Classically one of our biggest recruiting weekends is like the 3rd weekend in January, the coldest weekend in the entire nation in the history of civilization and geography. Thank god we have a salesman for a coach. I'm sure he just calls them pusties if they don't like it. We've landed some good guys following that subzero January recruiting blitz

If they are willing to visit now, then they know its going to be cold and thus this wouldn't seem to be much of an issue.

C'mon, Tiree! C'mon Beau!

i believe that Malcolm Murray is visiting Nevada this weekend instead unless it was a mistake by rivals. why are we talking about the 3rd weekend in january?

Scout shows Malcolm Murray visiting here this weekend. Could be an error. Probably is actually, as Rivals is usually more accurate.

that sounds like 3/4's of the entire country right now and this weekend. it is basically cold as hell everywhere except miami (and i am not exaggerating about that). it will be cold where ever they are coming from, it will be cold here, it will be cold when they head back home (for those coming from out of state). so i don't think it will be a big deal at all.

does anyone have any info on Malcom Murray? what were his offers coming out of high school? what was his star ranking?

Three of these kids are currently at Lackawanna (Sean Ferguson, Herschel Thornton and Tiree Eure) and all could see playing time here next year a DB a Safety and a TE. Hopefully Wills can show the boys a great time and get us some immediate help.

For what it's worth I believe there was an article on the GopherHole front page with the Gophers recruiting coordinator. In that article, I believe he stated that it was the staff's philosophy to bring in the warmer weather guy earlier in the season for official visits and to bring in the local guys later in the season/offseason.

If you look at the list of visitors for this weekend, every single visitor is from a cold weather state or is currently attending a JUCO in a cold weather state. Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey, and Missouri (stretching with Missouri, but it certainly isn't warm there right now).

The only downside to this cold is our Minnesota Hostesses will be in massive coats and warm clothes. ;)

I don't know, I think they will be up to the challenge.

Good thing that global warming is helping out! I'd like to put my carbon footprint up Al Gore's a$$!

nice!

p.s. i guess i will grudgingly volunteer for the job of keeping all of these hostesses mittens warm & dry during their photo shoots! ;)

And i will sacrifice myself and volunteer to keep their bodies warm.

Apparently James Green 4 Star WR is also visiting this weekend. It's being talked about on the scout board. Committed to Tenn last year, must not have qualified and allegedly will decide between us and Rutgers. Same poster also says Chris Hawkins is joining Huff at TCU (really starting to dislike those damn'd frogs).

Scout Board Rumor

James Green Rivals Profile

anybody else notice that malcolm murray was moved up to the 20th best player in the JC ranks. he is now a 4 star prospect. funny how just yesterday he was unrated or ranked

Murray may be one of the hottest JUCO's out there right now. He had to postpone his visit here due to some scheduling. He still wants to get up here asap. Kid is a beast, can play any secondary position.

Green was a much higher rated WR in last years class than Hawkins is this year. Similar situation that Gray went through except he has moved on from Tenn. He is already qualified and its between us and Rutgers. He said his visit there was just ok...Sounds like he really wants to be signed sometime next week. I bet he commits this weekend as long as the Florida boy can get over this white stuff. Huge thing with Green is that he would count towards last years class and can be here in the spring.

Hawkins isn't officially gone yet, although that could change at any moment. I hope Brew can keep his interest because he and Green could be one hell of a duo. Two different types of WR. Green 6'2" 200 lbs runs a 4.55 is really strong. Hawkins 6'2" 175 lbs can flat out fly. Avg. 40 yards a catch as a junior. My guess is if Hawkins still comes he will red-shirt to put on weight and refine his route running. He basically is told to run fly's and slants in his offense.

Great info 5 star thanks! I wish you would post on here more, you always seem to have good info...

Thanks. I haven't had as much time as I once did. Just hope we land Green, his video, size, and speed reminds me a lot of Decker. If you have any particular questions feel free to ask.

Nice info fivestar. Wondering what you think about the TE coming in? He's a big kid 6'7" or something like that and its definitely a position of need. Do we have any other targets or is he the our main guy?

Have seen zero film of the kid. 6'7" 242 lbs. Has some decent offer's. Say's he wants to make a decision by Dec. 16th. His stats are so so this year (17 catches for 240 yards). He claims to be very versatile, can run block as well as be split out as a wide out. Sorry thats really all I know about him.
