According to Darren Wolfson per Mike Ellis, Villa 7 will meet in Minneapolis that weekend, with over 80 AD's and over 90 men and women assistants.
Tremendous PR for the Twin Cities and a sidebar plus for the U.
We never had any young assistants that were attending, so why would we have heard anything? Before Teague and Ellis were hired at the U, how many people had heard of Villa 7?
We never had any young assistants that were attending, so why would we have heard anything?
Does it make the event less important because our wonderful local media never reported on such an event?
What happened to Villa 1-6?
Seriously - does anyone know why this deal is called "Villa 7?"

The first year it started it was held in "Villa 7" at a Las Vegas resort. I think it was the Bellagio.

It was the Mirage
And how many of us still don't give a sh*t.
I can say with relative certainty that it wasn't at Circus Circus.Ok, couldn't recall which hotel.
It's funny how the coaching search gave some people such negative feelings towards what's essentially a networking conference.
But that's the point. It's a networking conference. Does anyone think this is the first networking conference in the history of college coaching? Anyone in the know (a coterie of cognoscenti of which I am not a member), knows who the best young coaching candidates are.

There is a Villa 6. Villa 6 is a lesser Villa 7.
