I'll never get tired of watching this! Like many of you, I can remember exactly where I was when this beautiful kick happened! I was working for the KU athletic department in the pressbox of a KU game running back and forth from my seat/job to the big screen showing this game. I was with IAM4Goldy and when the kick went through I literally jumped in his arms. It's a strict "work environment" press box (re: no cheering) but I couldn't help myself and got a few glares from the more tenured KU-SID folks who still had bad things to say about Mason. It was fantastic!!!!

Go Gophers!!

Notice that game was Gold Pants white Jersey? I think the Gold pants are the key :)

Quite possibly the biggest win for the program since 1967.

I remember I was driving and listening and almost wrecked in the ditch I was so intent and not paying attention to the driving!

Will never ever get tired of watching that video....

this was one of those moments where if you are a true gopher fan you will never forget where you were when nystrom split the uprights.

Parents basement, 13yo, I ran out of my house and down my block screaming with joy. From then on i was a gophers fan and i ditched the vikings. Even painted my room maroon and gold.

I was 11, just got home from hockey tryouts, I for sure thought Arrington was going to block it, but he jumped to early

Snap was low, but Rindels put down a great hold. Love it.

A buddy and I watched the entire 4th quarter of the game in the electronics section of a Sears store. There were more than a few other guys in there by the time Nystrom nailed that kick, all of whom were presumably out shopping against their will like we were. LOL

That happened exactly 14 years ago today (November 6, 1999).

The Gophers should have beaten them in 1997 but a bad call near the end cost them, something about a receiver being pushed out-of-bounds and being declared ineligible. As I remember, Paterno even when into the visitors' locker room after the game and told them the Gophers should have won the game.

Ryan Roth number 66 with one of the best blocks in Gopher history.

First, that was a signature win.

Second, I believe Ron Johnson had his coming out party that day.

That is funny, I watched the end of the 2005 win @ Michigan at the Sears store at MOA, there were about 25 guys huddled around a tv on the endcap for that. A memory I will never forget, the bonding with strangers over a football game.
