Antoine Sr. was a first round pick (23rd) of the Bills in 1999. He played nine seasons with the Vikes (a three-time pro bowler) after five with the Bills.
Antoine Jr. certainly has the pedigree & the mentoring to be a great one for the Gophers. It helps that he has a chip on his shoulders for not getting an offer from his dad's alma mater.
Didn't he get timed 4.38 40 at a tOSU camp? It tells you the level of recruits tOSU is getting when they can pick and choose anyone to pass on him.
The Gophers are slowly, but steadily & quietly getting players into the pros. This is good for the future of the program.
