A lot of small schools carry on interesting traditions in sports, and we love highlighting them when we can here on the blog. John Brown University (Siloam Springs, Ark.) is the No. 14-ranked NAIA school in the country, and it also happens to start every season on a roll. Many, many rolls, actually.

You'll see above. The first points of the team's season are scored, and then the rafters erupt with white, hundreds of streams of toilet paper parabolically slamming onto the court. It earns the team a technical foul, but no matter, it's all in good fun. And it did no harm for the Golden Eagles, who won their opener 82-67 over Crowley's Ridge Saturday night.
