Through 4 games, this defense has a definite lack of creativity/aggression. Line up in a base/predictable set and get pushed around and/or give up a 8 yard out. Rinse and repeat. Scheme or talent driving this?

I actually thought we were aggressive.... just didn't tackle.
Agree
I opened this thread expecting to learn some hip hop star is related to one of the players á la John Legend.

The problem yesterday was tackling. The only minor gripe that I have is that I thought they were too aggressive at times. There were multiple times (this is of my recollection), where we had them in third and long and we blitzed. I didn't like it because I don't think Plummer and that O were capable if standing in the pocket and picking us apart. Their pass O was WR fade or QB scramble.

The Notorious D was 2018. Could have called it Ludacris. This is Vanilla D or maybe Eazy D, or maybe Lil’ D. Maybe 50 (per)Cent tackling D.
Saw lots of blitzing yesterday which I hadn't seen all year, and this was before the game got too out of hand. Purdue did a good job of picking it up for the most part until it was hold fest in the 4th.
