In Blacksburg. VT was ranked recently. Can we stop calling the UVa loss the worst thing ever now? That is all.

+1 Va will not be a bottom dweller in the ACC. Our loss will not be BAD!

Always nice to see C.J. lose a big game. It's great to see UVA do well, to make our loss look less terrible. I wouldn't be at all shocked to see them get another big upset or two before the end of the year. If they can get hot against us, they should have a few more games where they're hitting from 3.
 


UVa

Virginia's RPI (#60) is quietly climbing, and their best shooter (Zeglinski) just returned from injury. I hope the 'Hoos keep improving. We certainly know they're well coached.

Too bad about the injury suffered at the Barn. They will miss Sherrill at some point. Hopefully he can get back before ACC play resumes. They still have a couple BCS non-conference games to get through though.

Ouch is right...wish I could've watched that game. Wonder how much of it was USC playing well or TX playing bad?

And that loss to VA is definitely not as bad as it seemed. A decent hot shooting team can beat just about anybody on a given night.
 

True. But all three games are in Charlottesville, and dare I say all very "winnable". ... Oregon, Iowa State & LSU.

True. ISU is probably the toughest test there? A lot of folks grouse over the willingness to play these games but refusal to play VCU, Richmond, etc. VT is guilty of this too. Both would be better tests, but likely losses. Richmond shouldnot have to venture all the way to Arizona to get a game while the local big-shots chicken out. I hope they change thier stance.

On a similar note, it would not kill the Gophers to play Northern Iowa or UWGB.
