Boo bid-stealers, go UTEP!

Not the most exciting first game of the day, but I'll take it. Really looking forward to warming up for our game with UK/UT at 1:00 and then OSU/Illinois at 1:40.
 


Some nice early games on today. Im interested in Kentuckey vs. Tennessee. Tennessee's coach Bruce Pearl (as big as a jerk off as he sometimes seems) is a favorite of mine...being a young student at Youngstown State in the Horizone League when Pearls UWM teams were dominating I used to give that guy so much hell...and he would always come over and tell me that if YSU had 100 more fans like me it would be one of the toughest places to play in the leauge, and would always shake my hand. Then Kentuckey has John Robic as an assistant who coached YSU during these years, and I actually became close with him and would go down to the local bar for his coaches show and he would always make sure he got me a few rounds of beverages when I became of age on him and would always make sure he enjoyed one with me and ask my opinion on the games and stuff. He cared more about the average fan / student than kissing ass to the people with money...turned alot of people off on him but I miss the guy here in Youngstown.
 

Gus does a great job, but those glasses. He's got Harry Caray/Mars Blackman kinda thing going on.
 


Thanks again for beating Memphis, Houston! But you've went far enough. Go UTEP!!

URI is down 9 early to Temple. A blowout loss would certainly hurt their chances...

This is not looking good. I still like our chances if Houston wins this game but it would be close.

This definitely hurts us guys. Now I dunno, we might need to win today.

We need to start comparing our resume to Virginia Tech now. Would the committee take us over a 10-6 ACC team? One thing going for us against them is we have better wins and their Non Conference Schedule was ranked 340th in the country. Sounds alot like last year's Penn State team
 




UTEP just stopped playing hard. It was almost like they remembered they were in the tournament win or lose.

Also compare to Washington. If you look at who they have beat and who they have lost to + considering they play in the Pac-10, Gophs are easily in over them.
