USC has a long and distinguished history of cheating. Why not bring back some of those who were part of that dishonorable cheating? Honesty and cheating are all blended to some.

We brought back Clem.
 

Used to watch his USC highlights religiously as a kid. No matter all the drama, It feels right to see legendary figures return and be honored where it all began. Though I didn’t see the Gophers Final Four team, I ran into Bobby Jackson in the skyway when he was an assistant under Adelman with the Wolves and had a mini chat with him, brought up that we’d love to see him back at The Barn. You would rather the entire sport were clean but no matter how things shook out, you can’t take away the memories. I’m sure the return of Reggie will mean a lot to SC fans.

 

There is a new rule that says that disassociation with a player or coach due to a violation only has to last 10 years. It's time to honor Bobby Jackson and Voshon Lenard at the Barn.

It was clear we could have done it LONG ago. Michigan did so. It's just an example of Minnesota trying to prove some kind of extra purity or something. No clue why we are the only school still trying to abide by some arbitrary NCAA punishment from 20 years ago. They already throttled our program into decades of mediocrity. Wasn't that enough?

It's like we are a Teacher's Pet to the NCAA trying to take extra detention

If others can do it, then clearly we should be able to do it. Need to take a stand.

I vote for taking a stand and not following others. Why put something up that we cheated to win. I will stop supporting the program financially and otherwise the moment we do that.

We should still be able to recognize the players who are part of our history. I don't like Bobby Jackson or Voshon Lenard or other players from the era (except Russ Archambault) any less due to the academic scandal. I'll always remember the memories they gave us on the floor.
 

Thought we just recognized Clem. Do each their own. i AM NOT JUDGING anyone who feels differently than i do. It is not personal. Those players can redeem themselves in in ton of ways. But they can not undo cheating. There have been consequences for the mistakes i have made. I learned from them and moved on, made apologies to anyone hurt by them but it does not mean i did not do it nor the punishment i received.
