Butler up 13 on North Carolina with 8 minutes to play. That's my preseason national champion (UNC) getting handled by a team that didn't even make the tournament last season. Ouch.

Big East on a nice roll

Big East is off to a great start. Now a Power 6-best 5-1 vs. Power 6 opponents, with some significant wins:

Creighton over Oklahoma
Providence over Florida State
Providence over Notre Dame
Villanova over Michigan
Butler over North Carolina

In addition, Seton Hall won the 8-team Paradise Jam in convincing fashion, and Xavier is looking rock solid at 4-0. Chance for a couple more quality wins tonight when Georgetown plays Florida @ the Battle 4 Atlantis and St. John's plays the Gophers.

Maybe the Big East's early conquering is something Mike Grimm can use in his pregame tonight?

Not a Power 6 team, but Villanova over VCU is a pretty good win too.

Yep, thanks, there are always some other good wins outside of those. Hopefully Gophers get one Friday vs. Gonzaga.

I don't think of this as an upset. The tar heals are rated, but also known to not show up to play. I was grinning at the end of that game. I like seeing butler playing their hearts out!

They would probably be winning if they took real classes
