Given our current state, this is about as good of a scenario (avoid Sparty or OSU in quarterfinals) the Gophers could hope for in Indianapolis. However, personally, in the 1st round I'd like another crack at Iowa.

Friday, March 9 (Quarterfinals)
11 a.m. -- #1 Michigan State (11-3) vs. Iowa/Illinois winner, ESPN
1:25 p.m. -- #4 Wisconsin (9-5) vs. Indiana/Penn State winner, ESPN
5:30 p.m. -- #2 Michigan (10-4) vs. Northwestern/GOPHERS winner, BTN
7:55 p.m. -- #3 Ohio State (10-4) vs. Purdue/Nebraska winner, BTN

This would be a good draw for the gophers, they could realistically get to the semi's.

Under this scenario wouldn't you have to play OSU in semi (on Sat), then MSu in finals 9on SUN) (if OSU & MSU hold their seeds). As a State fan, we really don't play well in the BTT, so I expect you'd never see us.

With the success the MSU program has had, it's hard to believe Sparty hasn't played in a Big Ten title game since the last time they won it, 2000.

Yes, you are correct. I guess I was unclear. I hope MSU/tOSU end up 1 & 4 or 2 & 3 with the Gophers on the other side of the bracket. I don't see MN beating either of those two but faring better against Wisconsin/ Michigan.
