UNI - Playing Badgers Tough

I can't imagine they will win, but 26-21 with 5:00 left is putting a scare in WI. We didn't look great Thursday, but a win is a win.

Just looked at the box score. Their QB completed 80% of his passes. Wish Gray could do that.

I thought Wisconsin would suck in 2009 and the sharks would be in the water for BB's job. I was completely wrong on that one. So, perhaps being wrong had more to do with all the assistant coaches that just left for jobs elsewhere. Somewhere in my gut I just feel like the guy is a fraud. Obviously my gut isn't always right but it is fun to day dream and picture a meltdown season this year to expose BB.

Probably too early to tell after one game. Badgers game against UNI seems to indicate yes, but then again, the assistants BB lost to Pitt got hammered at home by Youngstown State and the Pitt message board is thinking it got duped by Alvarez.

I have the same feeling about him, but I could easily be wrong. Probably a style of substance thing for me. The guy just seems like a buffoon, but there's no question he has done well over there.

I watch parts of the Wiscy game.
The new QB is no Russell Wilson, but we he is pretty good. We are finding out that Wilson was a pretty special player based on beating out Flynn to start in Seattle. Wilson was the type of player to take a pretty good team to a BCS Bowl team.
The offensive line is not as good as last year. Same size but less athletic. They were not dominating the line of scrimmage.
The defense still has some issues.
I still pencil in a loss for us in Madison, but not of the 4 TD variety.

The gap between good FCS teams & FBS teams is not that large anymore. NDSU has proved it multiple times against us & UNI has proven it with near upsets of Iowa in 2009 & Wisconsin on Saturday.
