Does anyone else just feel uneasy while watching the Gophers? Minnesota has talent for sure, but for some reason I just can't trust these guys yet. A win against Wisconsin would go a long way in relieving this stress. I think it may have something to do with scheduling, which is a good thing. Aside from SDSU, the Gophers didn't schedule any slam-dunk victories (you can't say the same thing for the BADgers though). Every game seems to be close, and a little sloppy.

I've never been more confident in the team going into *ANY* game really. I thought Minnesota would get blown out about 5 times last year and twice this year depsite the meltdown in Iowa.......

I know, but there was just so many troubling losses last season. I don't get it either, this team has some serious talent.

True, hopefully it's the adjustments to the new system, so far they're getting better every game it seems.......
 

The thing that is troubling, however, is the continued lack of discipline.

The Simmons unsportsmanlike conduct penalty led to 3 points. There were penalties on two kickoffs. And it's only mid 2nd qtr.

That stuff can't continue.
