Go Gophers!!

OK, I like it. Its a start and done right for now IMO. Yea would be nice for a 7 digit donor to buck up but realistically this is not going to happen. I like our system.

They are doing a good job with these NIL things. Might not make these kids a whole lot....but will certainly get them some walking around money between this and Dinkytown Athletes.

Again...I think the real $$$ maker would be if they could sell signed gear. Maybe down the line.

Be nice if there was a contact page.
Be nice if there was a home page telling something about who organized the offer etc
At minimum a FAQ page

Endorsement on what platform? Where? On their social media? How many followers/subscribers do they have?
On my website? My social media?
Everywhere anywhere I want?
Youtube video?
Everybody's different? It's up to each individual?
On and on...

Me IRL talking to Gopher players / coaches:

I've met a few active/alumni players, Brewster, Kill, Fleck etc. at events briefly. It is a weird conversation to form. You don't want to come off as super-fanboy and get the sense they are probably tired of talking football with randoms. In the case of the head coaches there's this odd imbalance where you know a lot about them but they know nothing of you.

Adam Weber, years after he played, was probably the best conversation I've had with a Gopher player. I think we mostly talked about places to hang out in Chicago and normal people-meeting stuff. By that point we were just two 30-something guys in the same neighborhood, bellied up to a bar.

Wait, wait, wait...it's almost twice as much to chat with Brown-Stephens as Span-Ford??
TF?

I'm guessing the athletes get to set their own prices. Might have to do with how willing they are to do the chat.
