Typical fleck game

I’m sure none of us are doing backflips over how this season went but it says something about this program that we’re all somewhat disappointed in an 8 win season where we won the axe.
PJ has raised the floor of our program. I think we all are anxiously hoping he can get us to our ceiling at some point.

We lucked out with next year’s schedule. If we’re going to have a repeat of 2019 this coming season is going to be the year all things considered
I would have to look again
I remember 26 being manageable
27 being brutal
And 28 being manageable last time I looked.

What is the ceiling?
It's hard not to say the Playoff or at least in contention. If we get a good conference schedule draw like IU did last year or A&M this year there's no reason we can't win 10 games and sneak in.

Indiana was the worst P4 football in the history of the sport and has made back to back playoff appearances and is the 1 seed. I know NIL has been a factor but I don't see any reason why Minnesota can't make the CFP.

We get Michigan, Penn State and Indiana and dodge Ohio State, Oregon, USC. Based on the turbulent states of Michigan and Penn State and uncertainty around IU’s long term success (though i’m sure they will still be good) it is a golden opportunity where there’s no chalked up preseason loss.

I don’t either

I think they could have another 10-2 with fleck. Not sure they can do better than that or not
That record with one of the wins being Wisc or IA. I think that would be a bubble team for 12 team playoffs, definitely in if 16 teams.

Most years yes.

Sometimes they could be Vanderbilt schedule

I think an SEC or big 10 team with two or fewer losses makes it 90% of the time

Minnesota was a 7 point dog vs ranked Nebraska in October
I’m not talking about the spread. I’m talking about beating somebody we really shouldn’t have Penn State or Ohio State or Michigan or Oregon or anybody like that. I don’t think it’s happened.

Lol
The good news is is that even if we beat one you’re still a little whiny bitch

Probably...would Irish have made it in if they were in the B1G this year?

We were eight and a half or nine point underdogs. But you can just make up whatever qualifications you want to make your point.
When you’re talking to a guy who says point spreads don’t count as upsets if you win because it means you were as good

Then you know you’re chasing your tail in the conversation
