Didnt a later tweet announce he was coming on an official visit? I'm not sure if that's the good news or if there is more to it.

I think the good news he was tweeting about is that he's visiting this weekend. It doesn't mean he's ready to commit, he'll probably want to take more visits as he has some decent offers.
