Two time first team All MAC kicker Matthew Trickett commits!

Gophers don't have as many kickers as some think. The scholarship kickers from last year are gone (Lantz with a back injury) and the walkon that missed in OT at Wisconsin is too. That leaves only the walk on Walker (who is not 100% right now) and the kickoff specialist available for Spring ball. Assuming Trickett is on scholarship when he gets here, the Gophers will have 1 kicker (Trickett) and 1 punter (Crawford) on scholarship next year with experienced walkon transfers providing competition for both.

This is big. 94 for 95 on XP, 82.5 % on Field Goals. Don't see how he doesn't walk in the door as the favorite to win the kicking job.

This signing will win at least 2 games over the next 2 years. Maybe more. Huge.

I have some old Gopher hockey cards...so the department has done it before
I have a deck of cards from the '18 hockey season --- though that is the only sport I can recall playing cards being given out

At some point they did football ones. They weren't totally traditional sports cards but still have my signed Decker one from back in the day.

Did those come with your season tickets? The cards for the hockey team were more like baseball cards where the one you linked looked like they all came perforated in a sheet --- that is not to say its not a nice piece of memorabilia!
