Someone explain this to me. 1:30 left from our own 35, 2nd and 10, and we run. Then on 3rd down we drain the clock as far down as we can before calling a timeout.

So all indications are at this point that you want to run the clock out and go into the locker room. But then on 3rd and 9 with 45 seconds left, still at the same spot on the field (35 yard line) you decide to pass. W.T.F. ? Why, why, why? Your senior quarterback then goes on to make a terrible decision and throws an INT that the Gophers are lucky to get out of unscathed.

Can't believe I'm defending Brewster's game management, but USC had enough timeouts to keep us from running the clock, we needed a 1st down, and we weren't gonna get it on the ground.

But if you run...you run more time off & force them to use their final timeout...then u punt & end of half...
