Two Big Wins (Losses) For The Gophers

Illinois and Penn St. both lost tonight, putting them back in a 3 way tie for third place with the Gophers. All three teams are now 6 wins and 4 losses. We need a win at Ohio St. to stay in the upper division. A brief thank you to Wisconsin and Michigan for putting Nitty and Bucky down.

As much as the Becky win helped us, is it bad that I was still cheering for Illinois?

Big L..no I was too. Can't let anything get in the way of hating Becky. Besides, we don't need Wisconsin clawing thier way back to 9-9 and causing us any issues. I can just see the Selection Committee imposing a 'cap' on the Big Ten of 6 teams or so, and letting a 9-9 Wisconsin in over a 10-8 Minnesota or something.

I know! It was so confusing - I wanted Wisconson to beat them, but couldn't manage any pleasure in the plays.
