Iverson had a less than stellar performance last night, but he can be a beast inside. If Sampson plays offensively like he did last night, I could see Tubby playing them together next year a bit more. Maybe a little wishful thinking, but having two 7 footers on the floor has some appeal? Obviously need a cast of characters around them that can create and hit the J. Seems more plausible today than it did at the beginning of the year. Give them another year to develop and who knows.....

Depends on whether we have Mbakwe and/or Royce next year. If so, we'll have enough front court depth to allow Tubby to experiment. Otherwise, he won't be able to risk having them both on the floor at the same time, as they'll have to sub for each other.

The obvious reason we don't see the Twin towers is Tubby likes having a 7 footer on the floor at all times and we have no back up center. I think once Elliott Eliason arrives we may see this twin tower combination happen. Can you imagine the size and wing span next year. We will have 3 legit centers (Sampson 6'11, Iverson 6'10, Elisan 6'11), along with two 4 star power forwards in Mbakwe/White 6'7.

Actually I'm thinking just the opposite. If Royce and Trevor are available they will easily handle the 4 spot. If they aren't available we won't have much to pick from for a presence underneath(Carter in the mix obviously) and they might play together.

The twin tower thing also depends on what style you want to go with. If you want to play s--l--o--w--l--y like last night, the twin tower strategy might be pretty good.
