TV Ricmond game?

There is a bar in Richmond that would have a blow by blow. :cool02:
 





I believe the game will be televised on CBS 6 in Richmond on one of their digitial sub-channels. Supposedly the A-10 makes this available online for a fee. I wonder if BTN2Go will pick it up as they did Aggie Vision? Somehow I doubt it.

Looks like you can buy a 24 hour pass through the Richmond website that will let us gopher fans see the game in HD... It's $6.95

I am seriously disappointed RichmondInsider has not jumped into this thread.
 



I miss you RichmondInsider... I missed you especially last Spring at Bogarts.

I'll probably be at the game, nothing better than rooting on the Gophers and seeing the Spiders go down.
 

So it looks like our best bet is to watch this game is on a site like firstrow with low quality or spend 7 bucks to watch it on the A-10 online channel in HD.

Why is the Richmond 24 hour pass more expensive than the entire A-10 pass? All the other schools are a couple bucks cheaper too. Interesting.

Anyone coming down for the game? Probably going to pickup tickets, not everyday the U comes to my fair city. Plus VCU is playing Winthrop and tickets for that are more expensive (I just shelled out a lot for VCU/UVA tickets last week). Dusting off my Gopher gear, but I'm not expecting many other fans at the game.

I live in Richmond. I'll probably head to the game. Glad to hear I won't be the only U of M fan in attendance.
 

Anyone see we are 1 point underdogs for tomorrow? Should be a good game.
 



I hate comparing an option to other crappy options as a way to make myself feel better about that option.

My view: The powers that be chose Spencer or Lynch and that was a terrible decision.

IIRC, Lynch left to do T-Wolves games. (Or maybe to get away from working with Dave Lee.) They did decline to re-hire him, but left on his own. Spence is not as good as Kevin, but not awful. And certainly Grimm is miles better than Dave Lee.
 

Yep. I like Spencer too. And Grimm is quality - nice, classic delivery. It's amazing how many bad voices there are in Twin Cities sports TV & radio. Wish more were as good as Grimm.

Richmond bill-jacking on their all-access for what appears to be the same product (as compared to the A-10's 24 hour all-access with regard to the Gophers game only) is annoying. Minnesota pushing fans to that higher priced Richmond offering is too.

But I guess the pricing isn't nearly as bad as the game (& other nonconference games) flat out not being on TV in the Twin Cities.
