Not really anything earth-shattering here, but there's no doubt turnovers have been a huge problem this year. Tonight we turned it over a lot, but at least we forced more turnovers by them.

Counting all Big Ten games and tonight, we're 6-5 when being -2 in turnover margin or better. We're 2-8 when we're -3 or worse.

In our 8 wins in that time frame, we average a -0.6 per game turnover margin. In the 13 losses, it's been -3.5.

Pretty telling numbers there if you ask me.

Maybe I'm just doing the wishful thinking, but I keep believing they can clean some of these turnovers up to an extent. Particularly Welch and Coleman.

I want to strangle Welch sometimes with the little flip passes he makes. Give that guy a medicine ball!

I agree it's fixable. 6 of our players never played in the best conference in America before. So much of this season was spent sorting out. IMO 4 of the 5 starting positions are set for next year. I'm guessing turnovers won't be a major problem next year.

I definitely got a little scared when La Salle started pressuring more in the second half. We really don't have many guys who can handle that pressure comfortably at this point.

What I really want to eliminate, as mentioned, are those lazy passes 30 ft. from the hoop that almost always turn into fast break layups the other way. And if I can get a little picky...I'd also like the guys to find a way to feed the post without telegraphing their intentions to the post defender. We've had trouble with that all year (some of which can be blamed on weak post ups).

Turnovers are part of the game, though. These guys all are human. And young ones, at that.

Some of the passes he makes are just mind-boggling. No player has made me want to throw my remote through the TV this year more than him. I can forgive deficits in athleticism and play-making, but no player 4 years removed from HS should ever be caught dead making stupid, lazy passes like he is prone to do 2-3 times/game.

This is all from watching on tv but he looks chubby- he has a double chin for god's sakes.. If he is struggling with conditioning, fatigue would lead to lazy passes. Hopefully he shows up for his senior year ripped and lean.

This reference is probably lost on most but he reminds of a slightly less talented Antoine Joubert.

There are some guys that just can't get rid of some natural chub though.

You are right. I finally lost my "baby fat" when I was 40 years old, at which point it all turned into "adult fat".

And I believe it's the adult fat that can develop wrinkles.

Overall he has been a good pick up to help us play pg and sg for this season and next. He's about what I expected and was hoping for.
