Great game. Oakland was due to pull off an upset. Hopefully Drexel can stick with Louisville to cap off the night.
On the BTN, Michigan looked horrible. They are a 3pt shooting team that shoots at a terrible percentage behind the arc. Morris is a nice player, but they are completely lost as soon as he is taken out of the game.
You really have to respect Oakland for this win. The fact that they didn't have a letdown after a near loss to MSU shows they must have some mental toughness and confidence.
With Tennessee & the 'Ville going down, we're down to 12 unbeatens. ... Baylor, BYU, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Cleveland State, Duke, Kansas, Northwestern, Ohio State, San Diego State, Syracuse & UConn.
Northwestern and especially Cincinnati have basically beaten no team of consequence.
I missed Oakland, but caught most of the second half of Drexel. It makes the Sports Tier worth it.
Are the Louisville and Tennessee boards melting down like we did after the Virginia loss?
I have no idea how good Louisville should be, but they were hoisting up bricks like crazy that last 10 minutes, and made like two buckets. Any team can have a lousy night and get knocked off. Drexel is the real deal, and remind me a little of George Mason with good guard play and a little bigger up fromt than a lot of mid majors.
Come on Holy Man, who needs rational thinking? I thought the Gophers were the only college basketball team in the country that loses games it's not supposed to.
