According to Minnesota Preps, Tyus Jones and Carson Shanks will be at Wisconsin this weekend.
 


Sounds like Hopkins duo Joe Coleman and Siyani Chambers, Marcus Marshall of St. Paul Johnson, Riley Dearring from DeLaSalle will be among the visitors coming on Friday.

actually that word can be used as like "damnit" believe it or not. Sometimes you read into things too much FoT, especially if it happens to have the word f#ck and Tubby simeltaneously. No FoT, i dont want to know how many ncca games tubby has won at kentucky, but thanks ahead of time.

Well at least they weren't in Wi last week for the Gopher performance. Doubt either would consider the U after that debacle.

Not sure what you are trying to sell but not feeling dammit comes out of that spelling. Poor form go gopher.

Just to clarify this, UW's events are on Saturday, meaning Jones and Shanks could still attend the Minnesota event on Friday night. Saturday should be a big day in Madison, with Gameday there in the morning, the hoops scrimmage in the Fieldhouse at 2:30, then the Ohio St. football game at 6. Should be a great atmosphere for the recruits to soak in. The UW staff is expecting 2012 commit Sam Dekker, with his two buddies JP Tokoto and Bronson Koenig. I think it's fair to say that Tokoto and Koenig are the two highest priority recruits for UW right now. I don't think UW has much of a shot with Tyus, but he should have a really enjoyable day.

Over-react much? I can see it now. When Jones is committing to UW, 3 years from now he'll say 'it all became clear for me at that great tip-off event in 2010. From then on, I always knew I wanted to be a Badger.' ;)

Minnesota has dried up as far as a recruiting destination for Wisconisn since Tubby started coaching. It will be interesting to see what happens going forward and what impact it will have on Wisconsin's success.

I don't disagree but it is a nice sell to have a quality football program when you look at the overall experience for some of these recruits. You are correct, in the big scheme doesn't matter. But 49,000 screaming, happy fans is better than listening to our student section yell at recruits to go elsewhere. Which is happening this season.
