Looks like both our PFs. Illinois and DePaul have also offered both. It would be interesting to have high school teammates on the team.

Gophers offered scholarships to 6-foot-9 Gavin Schilling and 6-8 Alex Foster who both are from Chicago DeLaSalle. They're 3-star 2013 kids

I may never understand why Tubby settles for such mediocre talent. He has become a terrible recruiter.

For next years class Tubby has offered 2 4* 2 3* 1 2* and 1 unranked (according to ESPN). Ever hear of back-up plans? Generally you offer like 5 guys for one position so you have backups!
BTW- Last year we got 2 4* and Welch and Ingram.

Rivals shows that Foster has offers from Illinois and Purdue. Schilling has an offer from Illinois. Those two programs are better than ours right now.

Tubby better not miss on them or we may have to start seeing some articles about that.

They like Foster quite a bit... he's another kid that has visited Harvard. Seems a little strange still that Harvard is in play with so many kids the Gophers have looked at in the past couple of years, but I suppose that will continue with Amaker there...

I don't know that Illinois and Purdue are really on Foster strong at this point in time.

Interest in Schilling is gonna pick up.

I believe this is correct. Foster had early interest from a lot of schools, but that seems to have faded somewhat. Pretty sure Illinois and Purdue would be among those whose interest has faded. Schilling is kind of the opposite, in that he is just starting to emerge (did he move in from Germany?) Illinois apparently likes Schilling a lot, and it sounds like a number of others do as well.

I hope you're being sarcastic. Foster has offers from Illinois, DePaul, Indiana, Purdue, and Wisconsin. Schilling only has offers from Illinois and DePaul, but keep in mind, he doesn't graduate for another year and half.

I do not believe Foster has an offer from UW. They have shown interest, but I don't think they've offered.

It is now being reported that UW has offered Schilling. That said, I think he's going to be really tough for UW or Minnesota to get, and he is becoming a very popular prospect.

Do not try to convince the poor people on here that Coleman was a 4 star prospect. He was a 4 star guy on ESPN only. Two of the three respected databases have him at solid 3 star. For what it's worth, I don't think Andre was unanimous 4 star guy either. But, honestly, who cares? It's not even worth arguing about. The point is, Tubby is offering guys that look to be very solid candidates to be excellent roll players on a decent team. He just needs to add some superstar talent to each class to really take off. Let's judge his recruiting when it's all said and done. Three star guys are not all bad. But he does need to mix in a 4/5 star guy in each class.

So who was the last 5 Star recruit to play @ MN?
