This is the week he will break a long return. Purdue is last in the B10 allowing an average of 40.3 yards a return, and Troy should have a field day.

great article in the strib today on this topic. Websites not working right now so sorry no link.

Goooooo Gophs

I'm there too..assuming no penalties, of course, which absolutely killed the return game last week.

I doubt Troy will break one this week. It will be difficult. After all, he is only going to get one opportunity at a kickoff return. ;)

He'll get to field some free kicks.

I honestly do not remember someone coming so close to housing one, so many times consistently, and not taking one to the endzone...its only a matter of time...

If Decker wasn't such a monster, he'd be easily my favorite Gopher. Just a great weapon.

Similar to what PlayHosea said, during the game last weekend as a fan of the other opposition, besides decker Troy Stoudemire impressed me the most by far. That guy is lightening fast. If it weren't for a few holding calls he would have had a huge game last weekend.

I love watching him return kicks, but what I don't understand is why they don't have more plays to go him in the offense. He's deadly in the open field, so why not try some end arounds with him rather than Decker? How about a screens or short out passes to him? I really think it could help the offense be more productive.
