we need you guys. Both of you have the potential to play at the next level. And if you both return the Gophers will have a solid D next year which will help you with that draft status.

Do it for yourselves, do it for the Gophers, just make the smart decision and stick with it.

i thought i heard that edwards was leaving. or that he was definitely leaning that way.

They aren't.

We now understand enough about Jerry Kill to know he doesn't kiss anyone's ass. There are no drama queens on his teams. Either players are all in - or they need to move on down the road.

I'm sure Edwards would do well in the current job market, what with his degree and all. Oh, wait.

I'm sure an underacheiving, overweight player who is the subject of constant weed-smoking rumors about would get drafted after leaving early. Oh, wait.

I'm sure NFL teams would look kindly upon a guy who transferred to a 1-AA school before his senior season because a coach told him he would have to work hard. Oh, wait.

If Edwards leaves now, he is a fool. I'm guessing Bart Scott and Larry English are happy they stuck around when Kill arrived.

Wait.. Where did these rumors start? This is the first I've heard of this.

Luke Skywalker: "I care."

"Gophmeister, you will now show me the location of your secret Rebel base."

If they can't handle it or don't want to, peace out. I'm buying into Kill's process and I'm looking forward to the development of players that want to work hard on and off the field for our team. Perhaps the iron fist is what we always needed in lieu of the velvet glove.

Where is gopherlady with the exclusive interview with Jewan n Troy? Inquiring minds wanna know.

from the dude that predicted 9 wins last season as a "conservative" prediction. your evaluation of talent is probably questionable.

They can read?

I think we all care. These are two young men that can use one more year of college ball and they will help our D be better. If they don't want to come back next year, that is their choice. I as a fan would love to have them.

I always like to see a kid who has been access to a free college education to take advantage of it. The football part of it is of secondary importance to me, but there's no question having both of them on the team would brighten our prospects for 2011.

Stoudermire is one of those guys who is plain and simply "a football player." Great instincts, especially on defense, and has an ability to play a number of positions. He will be in a pro training camp someday. I just hope it's after he's completed his entire career here.

I'd love to see them both back, there is no doubt that they are a better football team with these guys on the team. That being said, if they don't want to be there, they may as well leave and make room for somebody who does want to be there.
