Was thinking today. How many Trophy Games has MN won with a native Minnesotan at QB? Leidner has two more years to build quite the legacy at MN.
 

Obviously Weber got 1 against Iowa. Sauter was a Minnesota native but I can't remember if it was him or Schade who started against Wisconsin in 1994. Was Schaffner a Minnesota native? Gophers got 4 wins over Wisconsin and Iowa in 89-90 but I'm unsure if he was starting or Fleetwood. Before Foggie is before my time.
