Tressel makes lateral move (maybe a step down)

INDIANAPOLIS -- Jim Tressel is heading to the NFL.

The disgraced former Ohio State coach was hired Friday by the Indianapolis Colts as a game-day consultant to help determine when the team should challenge plays. Coach Jim Caldwell said it was a position he's wanted to fill for the past couple of years.

No maybe to it. Tricky Dick has a long history of cheating as a college coach, if King Godell doesn't at least match Pryors 5 games, the players union reps should be on the first thing smoking to New York.

To be honest, I believe Tressel welcomes being suspended now. He has no intentions of coaching this year. Why not get it out of the way now at a cost of chump change, so he can negotiate his multi million dollar contract next season as a head coach with a "clean" slate?
