Did you guys hear that Totino Grace moved up from 4A to 5A.
Thoughts?

It will only help in recruiting. Good decision.

Makes sense football-wise.

I think they should keep class and conference alignment the way it is EXCEPT for football. For Pigskin, they should have a Catholic league like Chicago. Except it would be called "Non-denominational semi-religious, yet politically correct private school league."

It won't really mean anything when 6a is the largest class come April (which is what I'm hearing). Because the new class wouldn't open until the 2012 season, They probably go in Wayzata section (cause they have an open spot) so it will be real interesting for one year.

First, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz on the Grace move. They can move back any time if it becomes too arduous or things don't go the way the want.

Second, another class? Why don't we just add 10 more? Then, any team with a +.500 record goes to the semis?

We have 3 too many classes now.

I think they have enough classes, but why does the NCAA/College have at least 6 divisions/classes?

St Thomas, DeLaSalle, Benilde, Breck, the Cathedral schools, Lourdes, Cotter, the charter school in hoops should show as much balls.

JuCo, NAIA, D3, D2, D1AA, D1? I think they are all seperate.

At least four of them are sanctioned by the NCAA. Why are they all needed? Why not have one? Wait does it have to do with school size, funding, and numbers? Sounds similar to reason HS has more then one class.

They would add another class to justify forcing teams to play Wayzata and Eden prairie. You can't really force park center to play Wayzata cause that is blatantly unfair, but they deem it okay to force lakeville and eastview to play Eden prairie.

I have heard many different scenarios, but I think 1 more class of 20-40 teams is likely (and some of the larger schools in every class would slide up one class to even things out).

They did the classes they did so that no school would be in a class with a school that was more than double their size. A couple of super schools shot that to he'll.
