Only chance for an upset is the final two not three weeks of the season? Just misspoke right? :D

"Ohio State made a statement Saturday night in East Lansing, Michigan, dispensing with
then-No. 8 Michigan State, 49-37. But despite the Buckeyes' dominance, questions remain: Can the selection committee forget about Ohio State's loss to Virginia Tech? Is Ohio State's win a bad thing for the Big Ten's playoff hopes? Ohio State has four weeks left to prove itself (and for other contenders to fall).

Ohio State is in full-on campaign mode. "The last two weeks [of the season] are most important as clarity will emerge from a level of chaos this [past] weekend represented," Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith told Adam Rittenberg on Sunday. "We will see upsets again. I do believe this committee is going to objectively look at who's the best team at the end of the year, not the most deserving."

With all due respect your fishing a little on this one. He was talking about the whole playoff picture not just how it relates to OSU and from their perspective there is no way they would view a road game against a 7-2 team as an easier game then a home game against a 3-6 Indiana team.

Granted I am sure they expect to win the game on Saturday but Meyer is a good enough coach that he won't let the team overlook this one when they know they have to keep on winning and probably winning impressively to have any shot of making the 4 team field given their loss to Virginia Tech.

No offense taken but, uh, did you miss the :D ? I'll try and make it a little clearer.

Nothing better for me when the shouts of OVERATED and rushing the field after the game happens this
Saturday! Biggest game in 30 years!

Did any of you catch the end of the MSU vs OSU game on tv? I'm paraphrasing here, but the color guy, who I want to say was Kirk Herbstreit, said OSU has 1 more game (Big Ten Championship game) after their victory over MSU to show they are worthy of the final four. The play by play guy said, what about their game against Minnesota? They are good team, and the game is in Minnesota? Kirk kind of moved on without agreeing. I think this Kirk guy might be overlooking you know who :cool02:

Herbstreit is a former Buckeye QB and regarded as one of the top college FB analysts. I've always admired his ability to be objective about his alma mater but was a little surprised by some of his comments during the game which came across to me as a bit biased. Perhaps he's getting caught up in the OSU enthusiasm. The more they take us for granted, the better our chances.
