Only chance for an upset is the final two not three weeks of the season? Just misspoke right?
"Ohio State made a statement Saturday night in East Lansing, Michigan, dispensing with then-No. 8 Michigan State, 49-37. But despite the Buckeyes' dominance, questions remain: Can the selection committee forget about Ohio State's loss to Virginia Tech? Is Ohio State's win a bad thing for the Big Ten's playoff hopes? Ohio State has four weeks left to prove itself (and for other contenders to fall).
Ohio State is in full-on campaign mode. "The last two weeks [of the season] are most important as clarity will emerge from a level of chaos this [past] weekend represented," Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith told Adam Rittenberg on Sunday. "We will see upsets again. I do believe this committee is going to objectively look at who's the best team at the end of the year, not the most deserving."
