A couple of years ago, Tim Cross was recognized nationally as a top recruiter after the 2008 signing period. Is he still considered Minnesota's top recruiter? If not, who would you classify as an effective recruiter for the Gophers?

Kevin Cosgrove arrived on the Minnesota coaching scene with the reputation as an outstanding recruiter, especially in the St. Louis and Chicago areas. Has he had any success in attracting the athletes to this year's group?

Go Gophers!!

I think Cross and Hammock are the two studs when it comes to recruiting. Cross is kind of our guy in Texas and Hammock is our guy in Florida.

Cosgrove has helped a little (Marquise Hill, perhaps?), I believe. But he doesn't spend a lot of time recruiting In-season. Cross and Hammock get to spend more time doing that during the actual season.

But to answer your question, I think Cross and Hammock are very good at what they do.
