Enough of tonight already. The last three games have been one big blur....playing
three tough teams with a depleted roster and having a chance to win at the end of
each. I think these kids have proven they can play with anyone.

Now, its a new season. Illinois and Wisconsin. Get them up at TCF Bank with a
touch of winter weather. Both teams beatable. Let's get to a bowl game.

Yep! Won't make the season a success but at least it will remove some of the frustration.

Yep.

At home for the last two is a big plus.

Playing hard is all I can ask for. That's what's happening. No "W's" but still playing hard.

Two more wins possible.

Right, 7-6 is still within our control

Hell yeah!
There's a lot to play for.

Hear! Hear! Just the tonic - win two and get a bowl, any bowl. Without TCU and 19 seconds against Michigan, Gophers could be 6-4 now, going for an 8-win season, maybe 9 with a bowl.

I said in a previous topic thread we would beat Illinois and Becky and finish 6-6. I think would help to get a couple of kids back on defense, especially against Wisconsin.

From the Michigan game on the team has played hard under very challenging circumstances. Playing three top 15 teams, at night, 2 on the road, a ridiculous amount of injuries, questionable reffing, and a change of head coach. Yet, they had a chance to win all three in 4th quarter. I just want to have fun and enjoy the last two regular season games.

Excited about the future of this team once healthy.

Yes very proud of how this team has played and I am very excited to cheer loudly during the last two home gains.

Interesting parallel - Iowa has bad season last year, comes back this year and they've become the darlings of the media.

Gophers are having a down season (compared to the last 2). But, next year, IF they can stay healthy, with another recruiting class and an easier schedule, I think the Gophs can have a big bounce-back season - maybe 9 wins, or even 10. If that happens, the media will be jumping on the Gophers' bandwagon big-time. Mark it down - Tracy Claeys B1G coach of the year in 2016.

Fire up the bandwagon tractor. I'm driving!

Although not quite having the same success as Iowa, a similar reversal happened with Northwestern (and, of course, with Michigan but they're never down very long). The reversals for those teams are also the biggest differences in comparing our seasons for the past two years, 3-0 last year to 0-3 this year.
