No one knows what's going to happen in Big Ten play, of course. Certainly no one around here is cocky. Mention a bowl game to Kill, and he'll likely turn red. Or redder. But 4-0 is a huge head start.
So the magic number has been achieved. The Gophers still face a long and maybe even painful journey as they embark on Big Ten play. But at least they know there is a final destination, even if they aren't quite sure where it is.
