Tom Brady is weighing the sale of his mansion on Florida’s Indian Creek island, the exclusive enclave known as “Billionaire Bunker” where property values have soared since Jeff Bezos’ arrival.
The 26 Indian Creek Island Road property is being shown to a small group of potential buyers, according to people familiar with the matter. While there’s no official listing, the newly finished house has already received bids valuing it at more than $150 million, three people said, asking not to be identified discussing the private information.
A representative for the former NFL superstar didn’t reply to messages seeking comment. Talks are ongoing and there’s no guarantee they will result in a sale.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion built the Indian Creek home on a roughly 2-acre (0.81 hectare) lot from scratch, with plans for a two-story waterfront house that has a separate gym and a cabana. The lot was purchased for $17 million in 2020, according to property records.
A sale would be emblematic of Indian Creek’s turbocharged status as one of the wealthiest communities in the US. While the man-made barrier island has long been a magnet to the rich, prices have reached new levels since Bezos went on a shopping spree in recent years.
