Good solid game. Fun to watch for the majority of it. Played hard. Showed more positives than the last few games, but no sugarcoating it-this was a major choke. Doesn't matter who you are playing or where it is being played...up by that much and losing is a choke job.

We just can not win close games. msu STUCK THE 3 POINTERS when they counted - they only led for less than two minutes. We do not have a super star that can hit the winning shot. Sampson and Carter both missed makeable shots down the stretch. Another point = as soon as iZZO took out #41 - that really helped their offense and rebounding. Just a heartbreaking loss that makes the NIT too possible.

Yes -- great game. I really thought we were going to pull it out. Tubby had the playere prepared. The players played hard, Devoe stepped up nicely, and we almost beat #6. We would look much stronger with Mbakwe or White helping out underneath. Sampson is also really starting to develop. The only thing I ask is for the team to work hard and to represent the university well.

It often looks like boys (gophers) vs men, that will/would change with Royce and Trevor. We need to get the ball in Ralph's hands more, especially in the second half. It would bring his game to the next level if he could add some more muscle over then off-season.
