Don't bother standing up, opening your mouths, or clapping your hands at any point in the games.

Even Tubby has to flap his arms to try and will the fans into standing and you still decided not to oblige.

As a student, when I watch the Gopher flashback moments the main thing I notice is the sides of the stadium being raucous and rowdy. Haven't seen that for stretches of more than 15 seconds in a long time.

Tubby was waving his arms for the defense to put their hand arms up.

The Barn is the Barn. When the team plays good basketball it is a tough place to play. Ask any coach. The basketball played in the Barn last night stunk. It was boring. It was slow. Not even Gus johnson could muster up any excitement over that display of basketball. Pathetic.

It's all the fans fault. Please.
The players make the place rowdy when they win. It's the same as anywhere else. Look at St. John's. For several years the Garden was a morgue. Now that they're winning, the place rocks.
Get over it.

Seniors

At one point, with the Gophers clinging to a late lead, they showed the Gopher huddle. I noticed about twenty fans in the background. Every single one looked identical. Nobody under the age of 60. Every single one had their arms folded in front of them. All were seated and had a blank expressionless face. They all looked like they had been listening to a bad sermon for two hours.
It struck me that these are the same people who rocked the barn....30 years ago. They aren't bad fans...they are just really old.
