First of all, because both have come on with comments, threads, photos, etc, all in good nature, I want to wish BOTH of these good guys good luck this weekend:

1. Go Aggies, beat BAMA!!!!
2. Go Hogs, beat South Carolina.

Finally,
3. Go Gophers, beat Illinois.

If any of y'all can get here in about 75 minutes, come on down to Kyle Field for a Fightin' Texas Aggie yell practice!

:)

I will be there disguised as Lassie or a Goldy. Look for me please, because I am lost.

You guys have some seriously cool traditions. I do a lot of work with some A&M researchers and it's always fun to talk sports with them. A couple years ago my son and I converted to Aggie fans at the CWS. A few years ago I had the opportunity to tour the campus which is great and the sports complex is something else. I really got a kick out of Mount Aggie. I never thought I'd see a ski hill on campus! Anyway, role back the tide and kick some Bama butt!

Mount Aggie is just outside my office window.

In what discipline is your research?

Can't say that I do, even though they are just down the street. I'm surprised they haven't called me up to be a crash test dummy when they smash up trucks over at Riverside.

They did and I am. :banghead:

LOL. If they run low, I'll give them your name.

That yell leader stuff is one of the weirdest traditions in college football.

SHOUT OUT TO TexasAggie11 on the huge win! Congrats man! I really dislike Alabama and Nick Saban, so congrats again to your team and school! Awesome game!

Sorry, completely disagree. One of CFB's greatest traditions. My advice / suggestion.........buy or rent "Rights of Autumn" DVD set or read anything on college football history. You may change your mind. In any event, you are entitled to your opinion and I will respect that. My opinion is that I disagree with your assessment. Congrats to Coach Sumlin, A & M players, and all Aggie fans. A WIN over BAMA in Tuscaloosa is very, very impressive!

One of the project managers I support is an Aggie....he was in tears last night. Great game indeed and congrats to the entire Aggie nation is that beyond the moon at the moment.
