In practice I would make Sampson run laps everytime he fades away from anyone besides Iverson. If a smaller player is on him and he fades away its five laps. This has to stop.

In games, I would pound the ball into Iverson, every posession. Three's go in the highest percentage of time when its a pass from the post back out. No jacking up three's without any post passes.

Just a few thoughts.

Man don't you know anything about getting to the league??? Ralph is gonna need that turn around J.

Right on, march madness. Teams haven't been able to really shut down Iverson - he's only really stopped himself with missed layups and missed freethrows. He just needs to be careful about foul trouble. I don't really understand why Sampson has been starting instead of Iverson.

Joseph is the one probably most guilty of taking bad threes - there have been numerous times where Iverrson has been wide open down low, Joseph didn't pass him the ball, and took a contested jumper instead. Not good.

If I were tubby, I would make these guys shoot 500 freethrows day too...

Ralph needs a go to move from five to eight feet with his back to the basket. Sky hook, turn around jumper, or something else. I am sure he's got one that works in practice he just needs to get it into the game and gain confidence with it. The minute he can hit 60% of them he'll be a major force down low and will really free us up outside. Plus he's a terrific passer.

The move you speak of is a "drop step." I have yet to see Ralph do one.... ever.

Like father, like son....think about it

The "real" Ralph Sampson rarely got within 8 feet of the basket, either. Maybe it's just not in his nature.

RSIII is not a banger and I suspect he never will be. Iverson has that in his nature. RSIII could still be very effective without being a banger, IMHO.
