who sold out their team by selling their tickets to Iowa fans.....you are not a true Gopher fan and I'm glad you were not in the stands to enjoy that victory with the rest of the faithfull followers....you did not deserve to be there !!

My guess is your intended audience, for the most part, won't see your message.

The majority of the people not in their seats on Saturday are the ones that have tickets for the event, not the love of college football. there are lots of them. I talked to a few at my kid's hockey practice on Sunday. A couple "Oh we didn't go, I wouldn't sit through that cold weather" and one "I don't like going to the Wisconsin or Iowa games because of all the idiot visiting fans."

Quite frankly, all those years in the Metrodome really made a lot of people soft. It is going to take the REALLY FUN cold weather victory over Iowa, along with a few more to build things back to the point where A) People actually dress appropriately (lots left at halftime and weren't dressed for that kind of cold) and B) Understand that late season games are often the most memorable ones, thanks in part to the weather.

I'm wondering where the "gopherholer" is that earlier this year said he wasn't going to use his season tickets anymore this season because he had more important things to do like yard work. Those of you that have stuck by this program for years were rewarded Saturday. I wish I could have been there! I'm having a blast rubbing it in right now!

The guy who sits behind me and complains the entire game wasn't there. In his place were two somber Hawkeye fans. Hopefully he'll let them have his seats going forward.

Right on...

+1 Schnauzer.

The elements were an essential component of this game and victory.

What in the future is described as "MINNESOTA FOOTBALL" will be defined by November games like this one.

Can we expect them every year?...probably not...but when they do come, they should be embraced with gusto and guts...by the team and fans alike.

Iowa did not look like they wanted to be there while the Gophs were reveling in it. Truly a sight to behold.

Go Gophers! Enjoy Floyd!

Miss a game?

Oh hell no. I couldn't miss out on the opportunity to watch Zeppelin Gopher go storming down the stairs after every big play for opponents. Sometimes I get rewarded with bigger things too, like Pigs.

I sold my tickets. Do I regret it? Yup. If that doesn't make me a "true fan", big deal. I've been unemployed for nearly two years now and kept my season tickets anyway, I had a chance to make some back and I took it. Plus I'm pretty sure the Gophers would have been on the wrong end of a blowout had I chose to attend the game.

Hopefully those that sold them DID make some money on them. They were practically giving tickets away before the game on the street. The Iowa fans next to me paid $10.
