It's time, and now to move. There is nothing left. There is no reason to delay.
I'm not going to b#&^@, I'm not going to boo, I'm not going to chant anything negative at the remaining home games.

I stayed until the final note in Hail Minnesota, I was almost the only one left in my section when it was over.

Bleed's thread is awesome wisdom, and to be honest if a move is made now, i think the fans will at least quit acting so terribly. I saw one fat faced SOB cheering for NIU the whole second half.
NOT OK!

My only hope is that Maturi also resigns and Bruininks gets someone with football knowledge to select the next coach after the season.
I'd personally give the decision to Dungy alone, and roll with whoever he suggests. This is the only role I can see Dungy taking to help with. He'll never coach here, he'll never AD here, but I think he'd work on finding a new coach for us.
Bruininks will leave, and the new president will bring in an AD, or an interim AD could be promoted internally until the new president is prepared to move on a hire.

The fact is, the season isn't lost, but the venom is building way to quickly to finish this ride out in any enjoyable way. Even a big home win will not help. Possibly if we clip wisky, some fans would take solice. I doubt it though. Can anyone forsee Brewster getting cheered off the field, even if they beat OSU? Maybe a golf clap, the hate flows too strongly in this fanbase now.

And to all the a holes suddenly coming out of the woodwork trying to thump their chests with "I told you so!" posts, no you didn't. You didn't say crap in 08' when the team was 7-1, and if you had been proved wrong, you would not have admitted it. Just stop, there's enough negative energy around here without mutilating a dead horse.
