The field wasn't as strong as in the past and the highly anticipated matchup between Marcus Paige and Tyus Jones did not happen, due to injuries, but there were some good performances at the Target Center Saturday.

I have to admit that if there was a playoff FB game I would have switched the channel

If there had been something else to watch, I might have switched channels when the Gophers got down by 18, but I give them a lot of credit for the comeback. Now if only Al Nolen would realize he can't shoot, I would be happy. Thursday game is a near must-win. They can't afford to go 1-4 in the Big Ten. Hopefully, the comeback will give them so-needed momentum.
