Does anyone know where I can watch Tim Brewster's job acceptance press conference when he was hired way back when? Would like to see both coaches speeches head to head

Please change the title of this thread. I almost had a heart attack.

that is disturbing....

on so many levels - everybody showed him the love after that press conference

If he had been able to coach, no one would have thought in retrospect that there was anything disturbing about Brewster's press conference.

+ 1

We all wanted to see what his recruiting skill could do after a breakout season. Clock struck midnight though...

This made my ass pucker up a bit-

Brewster said he felt a sense of destiny after having dinner with Maturi in the same hotel that the Denver Broncos stay in the night before home games. As they went upstairs to Maturi's third-floor room for more discussions Brewster said he felt antsy. Maturi told him his room number: 3073.

"I said, 'No, we're not going to 3073,' " Brewster said. "That's the room that I was in every Saturday night prior to every home game when I coached with the Denver Broncos. You guys figure that one out. There is some definite fate involved in this deal."

Oh ya sure you betcha some definite fate involved there.

many of the themes Brew raised were also discussed yesterday

I guess maybe the goal continues to be the same but the new guy can execute on those?

Kill has a record of winning, which Brewster didn't have. Kill also knows what he wants to do on offense and defense, we're not likely to see radical changes too often.

This. And also, Kill discussed things about his offensive and defensive systems, specifically the types of players he wants and how he runs his programs (high speed practices, etc.). Brewster couldn't say any of that, for obvious reasons. He just talked about wanting tough, smart, hard nosed players, who will compete. He even said he wanted to look at the talent before deciding what systems to implement, which is funny cause he proceeded to force feed a system that didn't fit his personnel for the sake of recruiting. Vast difference from what we're getting now.

Its funny, he knew how to gain our trust.

He basically talked about every way he was going to succeed here by succeeding in every area that Mason failed.
