Yep, the CBS Sports Network is showing Minnesota State Mankato vs. Winona State tonight at 7:00.

Supadup, any updates on this game?

Is now 28-3 Minnesota State over Winona State. 1 minute 30 seconds left in first half

Update: Now 28-10 Minnesota State. Winona State with a quick TD to get it closer before the half.

If any of you ever played or followed Minnesota amateur baseball, Winona State QB Jack Nelson is son of former Dundas Dukes 2B Scott Nelson.

42-24 Mankato with 4:12 left in the game.

Ended up 44-24 Mankato. They are the real deal, 28 straight conference victories.

Crazy enough, it was on SWX (I think it's part of the NBC family, but I could be mistaken) here in Billings.

You realize it is the NSIC? Mankato should not lose outside of the very odd chance St Cloud or Duluth field a competitive squad. Upper Iowa, Mary etc are not exactly the gridders that used to haunt Mankato's schedule in the NCC days.

Didn't duluth win it all in 2008 and 2010? Can't remember.

Watched the replay on FSN and found it very entertaining. Josh Mikes of WSU looks to have some pro potential. He's a long and athletic receiver. Paul Preston is a little jitterbug at RB. Also, was impressed with Mankato's explosiveness. Their unis were really top notch with one of the best lid designs in football at any level. The glossy purple with the Maverick logo really stood out. Glen Taylor got his money's worth on the unis lol. Pitts is decent, but Crouch was bad. Then again, you can't expect A level announcers for DII level games. Overall, it was a very good broadcast.
