I see the Gopher dropping to #10...maybe #11.

Top 10
#1: Duke
#2: Syracuse
#3: Kansas
#4: Michigan
#5: Louisville
#6: Indiana
#7: Arizona
#8: Florida
#9: Gonzaga
#10: Minnesota

I think 11 or 12...in that ballpark. Agree I think Butler jumps the gophs...

Do we jump Gonzaga? should be close

I was going to say the Gophers should drop a lot further than that, but there are no real solid candidates to move up. Almost everyone behind the Gophers lost to the point where few teams have a case to move up. I'd have both Butler and Gonzaga ahead of the Gophers (don't necessarily think they are better teams though) which puts the Gophers at #11 with maybe Kansas State(?) nipping at their heels at #12.

That road game at Wisconsin looks huge right now and gives the team a great shot to make up for Thursday

Regardless of where we are, our worst loss is still to the #5 or #6 team in the country. Not many teams with 3 losses have *ever* been able to say that.

ill take Michigan #1(only loss to OSU on the road)

only fitting for the Gophers to lose to 3 #1 teams this year. those 3 teams will have held the #1 ranking year round with the exception of last week by Louisville.

We are #12 in the latest AP poll.

Go Gophers!!

And Illinois...

2 weeks ago: #12
1 week ago: #23

The wi game will be huge. Could factor in our breaking back into the top 10 or falling way back. But must beat Northwestern first. both of these games will be tough. Hope we take the game to Northwestern rather then letting them slow it down and force us to play their style like they did in the first half a few weeks ago.

One positive is that I think the Northwestern game will be a good warmup for Wisconsin. Northwestern is essentially a less talented Wisconsin. Both teams will try to force us to slow it down, like you said we have to force our style on them instead of the other way around.

Yes good point. I am expecting this to be similar to our game at Williams Arena. Close at the half and then we wear them down and win going away.
