1. Gopher football maybe the only winning major sports team in the area.

2. Viking fans like TCF stadium

3, Gophers sell out and keep the added temp Viking seats beyond the 2 Viking years.

4. AND -- Gopher Football is in the B10 title race each year.

Yep! I'm optimistic but HAPPY.

I think you missed the "during football season" part. Obviously they overlap but not for that long plus that will be the end of our season and the beginning of theirs

I was also going to add that Gopher basketball hasn't had a losing season since Tubby took over.

This is probably true, but I could give a damn about the NHL.
I am more troubled by the idea that we have made it now, when we had a better record than team last season.
I am as optimistic about the future as anybody, but when we have a QB I'll be a lot more optimistic about the present.
