Trib reports that Hammock has been retained by coach Kill. This is good recruiting news. Only wish the receivers coach had been retained, too, but I guess this is too critical a part of introducing a new offensive scheme. Too bad Weber isn't coming back he could get one more
new coach and scheme!
 


This could be good news for the Gophers chances with Bishop Sankey, a four star running back recruit from Washington (state). I know he is/has been recruited by Hammock. MV over at the FBT blog does a really good job with recruiting and he seemed pretty confident if Hammock stuck around that Sankey would come to Minnesota.
 

Will Hammock continue as running backs coach or move to another position?
 

You mean that the race-baiting thread and the "All of Brews staff fired" thread were both completely full of sh*t? Color me shocked!

He has been committed there for a while. He is looking around at other schools from my understanding, however. Can't blame him, I wouldn't want to play at Washington State. He came on a visit the weekend of the Ohio State game when the Gophers weren't bringing in anyone else for visits. He must have a pretty strong relationship with Hammock, if that is the case. I'm not sure what the odds of him ending up here but I know I welcome him.
 

This can't be. Ducati Gopher quite proudly told us yesterday that all Brew coaches had been dismissed. :D
