This Year's Victory Walk

What is the plan for this season Victory Walk before the games? Is it starting at the McNamara Center again?

I haven't heard anything to indicate it will change. so, yes, I'm assuming it will start at McNamara Center again.

For some reason I thought they were moving it closer to the stadium.

Not really possible to get much closer than that and still be able to have a true Victory Walk. I believe what is moving is that the band's pregame show will follow the Victory Walk and is being moved to the Tribal Nations Plaza instead of being played just past the premium seating entrance on the home side of the stadium.

The Victory Walk and pre-game Marching Band concert are happening on the Tribal Nations Plaza. Seems like a good idea to me. Tightens up the Victory Walk and doesn't have an impact on traffic as much.

So they're going to drop off the team at the plaza and have them walk like 50 feet? That seems screwy to me (not that the U wouldn't do such a thing).

For the 11AM games that will be ok but the games with the bigger build up games it will tough to get more then a few hundred people for the VW. I realize it takes a couple of years and winning to build the tradition but our family enjoyed the activities and VW from the McNamara Center.

My thoughts exactly. They should be shooting to make this an Air Force style GVW every game.

Our problems are not due to too many people at anything. I agree 100% that we should shoot for AF like GVW every week! But, let's get a consistent crowd at things and have to expand because it is so popular.
